About Tyler

Tyler Kaufman is a science-artist, composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist specializing in interactive installations, sound design and sitar. His music fuses cinematic composition, electronica, songwriting, and world instruments into a distinctive electronic cinematic sound.

He is currently touring his new interactive science-art installation, Brainwave Control, which has been presented in London, Los Angeles, and Irvine, with upcoming presentations in Santa Barbara and Ecuador.

He is the founder of Visceral Design and co-founder of TakT, has toured internationally, and performed at major festivals including Burning Man. His science-art work has been honored with awards from the Salon d'Automne (Paris), UAE Emerging Art Scene Prize (Dubai), and Arte Laguna Prize (Venice). Currently based in London.
